The Vedas are the treasure house of knowledge and they reveal the eternal values of life. The sacred truth, as contained in the Vedas and Upanishads have been revealed to great Rishis of yore who had delved deep into the ocean of knowledge. In order to spread the universal knowledge as contained in the sacred texts to humanity, "VEDANTA BHARATHI" has been established with the Benign Blessings of His Holiness Jagadguru Shankaracharya of Dakshinamnanya Sri Sringeri Sharada Peetham, SRI SRI SRI BHARATHI TEERTHA SWAMIJI who is the chief patron of this organization. SRI SRI SRI SHANKARA BHARATHI SWAMIJI of Yadathore Yoganandeswara Saraswati Mutt is the patron of the Vedanta Bharati.

The main motto of Vedanta Bharathi is to serve Advitadarshana through Adhiti-Bodha-Acharana-Pracharana. Vedanta Bharati has embarked upon compiling Advaita Kosha and other works relating to Shankara Philosophy and has also published several works on the Vedanta subject. Many more ambitious programmes have been chalked out in this direction like Vakyartha Ghoshti, Vivekothkarshini Spardha    ( a state level high school competition), Shankara Sandesha Saptha, National Integration Workshops, Vedapuja, etc.
